When making the first Rocket Man movie we were trying to replicate the special effects of the 1930s. We found that we actually had to redo (dumb up) our FX to match technology of the time.

The FX created for the Rocket Man movies made them successful by perfectly recreating the old science fiiction special effects styles of the 1930s and 1940s. Without the extra FX efforts, there would be no Rocket Man films.
The effects in Rocket Man III added an entire new level to the professional look of the film. The creation of the FX were just as important to the series as that of the writers, actors, and music composers.
